Tucker has a better social calendar than us!!!

As per the title it seems that our dog has a better social life than us!!..lucky " Tucker"... to be so popular!!??

This morning began with the usual activities of breakfast, laundry, a bit of housework, recycling returned for $$$, and  a bit of shopping!!  This afternoon I went to visit FREEWAY at the storage lot to take a load of our colder weather clothes and a few sundry items.  I also met my parents at Tim Horton's for coffee and a catch-up session..have not seen them since Nk'mip..bad daughter that I am :)

Our "Tucker" on the other hand had a much better day in store...a walk at Mundy Park just  a few miles from our house..to meet his girlfriend "Emmie" and her dad, Ed.

Mundy Park is Coquitlam's largest forested park, of 435 acres, includes walking trails and two scenic lakes. You can enjoy a long, leisurely stroll under the forest canopy lost in the tranquility of nature,so close to the city but yet still in amongst the trees.   The Mundy Park trail system incorporates a loop trail around Mundy Lake and passes by Lost Lake on the east side of the park. There is also the opportunity to try frisbee golf on the nine hole course located near the ponds on the west side of the park. The park also has a swimming pool, washrooms, large picnic area and playground. There is an off leash time so it is a great place to let them run without having to worry about getting a ticket!!!!

The two dogs had a great time, romping along the forest trails and of course getting all muddy and wet!!

This afternoon was the Scotiabank and BC SPCA PAWS FOR A CAUSE..a walk for the animals.  It is the largest fundraising and awarness campaign in support of animals in B.C.  Doug and Tucker joined in the walk, along with his buddies from dog class. the walk for the Coquitlam area was held at Lafarge Lake..just across the road from our condo..yet another social event for our  "Tuckmeister".  The two of them raised $110..thanks to all who donated !!!
