One more weekend is now coming to a close..We spent the better part of  our days off doing errands, laundry and housework..nothing too exciting…groceries, costco,  canadian tire, doggie daycare and a walk along the river…

Tucker doing what he loves best!!..going for  a swim!!

Sunday morning we went to the Coquitlam Farmer’s Market..we wandered around looking but not purchasing any of the fresh produce .there was a salmon burger barbeque but we did not give in to temptation!!..we did find the Centennial Rose Garden  located just across from the that was a nice surprise!!..a sea of different coloured roses and the fragrance was wonderful!

It was good to stop and smell the roses!!..

ps:..this is for our ‘jeep friends’..we are still trying really hard to keep the ‘jeep wave alive and well in British Columbia….when we were out driving this weekend….’we see a jeep!!..we yell JEEP..and we wave ..we hope they will wave waving but we got two NODS!!!..If they dont wave or nod we mutter under our breath a profanity that I will not say!!..JEEPERS CREEPERS!!!!..TWO NODS IS BETTER THAN NOTHING!!!

So as this scorching weekend comes to an end..the reality of heading back to work for another week is in the back of my mind..a short week this week..YIPPEEE!!…

  1. Looks like you all stayed plenty busy this weekend. It sounds like you have your work cut out for you in getting those Canadians to do the Jeep wave. Keep at it...they'll either wave back or think your crazy!!
Looks like Tucker had the right idea...stay cool and take a swim. :)
Love the pictures of the flowers...such pretty colors! Nice stroll through the rose garden.

  2. Great blog! Loved all the pictures and the flower ones were especially good. Looks like our temperatures are going to be dropping back to normal soon - I'm kind of glad for that as 90F is way too hot around here.

  3. Gorgeous flower pics! LOVE the bright yellows.

I'm crossing my fingers we come across a farmers market. There's nothing like fresh local fruits and veggies. The closest thing we've come across are stands along the side of the road with 10 peaches in a bucket, and maybe 13 snap peas in a bag. Not much else :)

  4. I'd wave at you, but you would think, what is that nut in the Duramax & 5th wheel waving about, keep it up every revolution started with one person..Be safe out there. Sam & Donna.

  5. What great pics of those flowers. There seem to be a lot of beautiful flowers in the British Colombia towns we have visited. Great job with the photography.
