this time last year….

yes this time last year..I was in Osoyoos…but a distant memory..but a memory still the same…the wind, rain and the sun..the full meal deal of weather!!Pictures

life has changed in the past year…we have made some summer altering decisions..and it is very different to be at home…lots of time for all the things that don’t normally get it is productive..

do we miss it..I do..Doug?..not so much..he is busy at work..but me?..I have lots of time on my hands..just me and my boyz…we are bonding!!..time well spent…running in the park..swimming in the river…a tired dog is a happy dog!!!

one day we will be back out save us a campsite..and a chair by the fire…but for now..we are ‘keeping an eye on the prize’..dreams never die just the dreamer!

  1. Well said, Sue! I enjoy your blog and your outlook on your situation. And it's fun to have the memories and photos of past camping trips to keep you going.

  2. We are in the same boat except for the trailer sitiing outside, and our wait being the sale of the house, but at least we can get a way for a few days when Donna takes off from work, be safe out there. Sam & Donna..

  3. Sounds like lots of us are just biding our time until we can hook on, make like a baby and HEAD OUT!!!! I guess we have to stay home to get some work done once in a while, eh??

  4. Great post and super positive thinking!! It won't be long! You and Doug always have a spot by our campfire!! We can't wait!!

  5. We are there with you guys and hopefully we will get on the road about the same time..

  6. Sure do understand your feelings. For me, the hardest part of the whole year is having to sit at home every summer waiting to get back on the road again in the fall. For those of us with the 'itch' there is only one way to scratch it & that is too drag it on done the highway:))
