a quiet start to 2011….

just a quiet week here at Big Dawg and Freeway..working, cooking, cleaning, laundry, eating and sleeping…that pretty much sums up our week..not exactly blogworthy…

Last  weekend ended with Tucker having a bout of ‘gastro-intestinal issues’..both ends were working overtime!..poor boy…

This afternoon involved a visit to the vet because he has some sores on his face..that needed some medical assistance…armed now with cream, and two different kinds of anti-biotics..

We were told that it was an allergic reaction..and here we thought that Oliver had been chewing on Tucker’s face!..

Tucker is not the best ‘patient’ in the world..he is pretty strong and determined to have nothing to do with us trying to help him…

We are hoping for a better weekend…Doug asked me tonight?..what do you want to do this weekend?..well, my answers were not realistic..so as reality hits and the weekend is upon us…we WILL find something to do  that is blog worthy…

Just wanted to say thanks for keeping us entertained this week with all your travels….we are having fun riding in the backseat...travelling the highways ...sitting by the pool..and drinking the margaritas!!!..keeping the dream alive.

We know that one day in the future someone will be reading our blog and wishing it was them..so for now we will be the reader/backseat rider.

  1. Both Checkers & the Motormouse, our female dogs, are fine with the Vet but our male dog Max is a typical male.........doesn't want any part of the Doctor & does not like us trying to help him with anything. He's a typical male alright & takes right after me......

  2. I have quite a few of those unrealistic weekend ideas too ... reality will be laundry and chores ... and hopefully reliving some more of our Caribbean cruise with a few more island posts :-) I'd better go finish processing photos.

  5. I guess we are lucky that Rusty loves his Vet. He has to go in for his booster shots this next week, and he handles it all very well. Stay safe.

  6. It's OK to be the backseat driver for a while longer! I know when we are home in the summer I get itchy feet wanting to go somewhere (Mike is the homebody).

  9. Definitely blogworthy thoughts for all of us riding along on the internet, sitting home doing home things for the time being. Reading keeps the dreams alive, I think.

  10. Anecdotal evidence suggests Tucker may have been reading the Midlife Cruiser's blog too faithfully.
