our dirty little secret?..

the other day on the way home from work Doug and I were discussing his wardrobe..and the fact that he has a ‘ton of t-shirts’…too many to count…IMG_1951-1_thumb[1]

(I would need a wide angle lens to get them all in one photo)...and the fact that when we are south of the border we will be making a stop at a one store in particular   for a few more t-shirts to add to his collection..I, in turn called him a ‘t-shirt w#^*e’…and then you know what he said to me???..

‘I was a ‘blog w#^*e!’..what the heck???…yes, I follow over 100 blogs…I now have 100 followers ….have done 387 posts and received almost 2600 comments…

You know of course this was all in ‘jest’!…we both  have our addictions ..his is t-shirts, baseball hats and jackets!..mine is blogging!..so there you have it..our ‘dirty little secret’!!!

What is yours ?..shoes, purses, chocolate, quilting??..do tell!

  2. I think mine is fabric!!! I always think I am going to make something spectacular so I buy these adorable fabrics and I have DRAWERS and plastic tubs FULL! Every once in a while reality hits and I give it all away - only to acquire more piece by piece as time goes by! Once in a while I actually do make something.

I wonder if Nellie leaves those plastic piles around for people to find??? Now you know which book on my blog was for Nellie (luv you sweetie!!)

  3. The hours and hours I spend online looking at used RV's.

Is it my imagination or are the hangers for the shirts all exactly the same distance apart?

    Perfect order?

  4. I used to collect model trains ( sob) but now that I have sold them, I think I will just wait and collect great memories of the places me and my pretty bride visit when we go fulltime. Be safe out there. Sam & Donna.

  8. Quilting fabric and shoes! I think Michael is a rare man who doesn't have much of an addiction to anything except maybe Emmi and me!

  9. I can't live (well I could but I don't want to) without my internet. I love following all the blogs and the forums that I'm on. But chocolate covered peanuts probably ranks right up there. Jim's is t-shirts from everywhere we have been. We're running out of room.

  11. We all have our addictions...but they are healthy ones. Blogging is fun and you build a lot of cyber relations and that is good. Meeting some of the blogging friends is even better...it's like you already know them.
Take care and enjoy your addiction.

  12. Facebook, sad to say. I knew it when I signed up and I did it anyway.

And, of course, there's always quilting. If you want a quilt made out of those favorite t-shirts, I'd be happy to make one for you. (I love that idea, Judy!)

Gotta go log on to FB....

  14. Love the quilt idea too :)

Addictions....hmmm...I am thankful that my addictions hurt no one because I have many addictions. I am addicted to the internet. It's harder to find time on the road but every chance I get I am on checking email, blogging, reading blogs, search google...you name it, I am there :)

I love scrapbooking but have little time in the past couple years to do it but I still manage to collect supplies.

I am basically addicted to anything I have an interest in at the time...be it reading, painting, working... once I get into it I am consumed by it. My worst addiction...trying for perfection...sometimes I have to learn to just let it go!

Oops sorry I rambled on a bit here :)

  15. Yup, it's the tee shirt thing. I can't resist a gorgeous photo on a tee shirt from somewhere I have traveled. Definitely need a tee shirt quilt, Judy! Yarn, yarn, always yarn. I'll die before I can knit up all the yarn in my stash. Can't resist a gorgeous hand dye silk or wool from somewhere I have visited. I'm glad blogging is your hobby, Sue, I love reading it.

  16. Sorry to say I share both of your addictions. I have t shirts out the wazoo, and still buying more. Just bought a 4th of July t-shirt this morning. Pretty nifty if I do say so myself. Love sport's t's too. Blogging is right up there with t-shirts.

  18. Yes, but your secret doesn't take up space. Of course, you can always cut up his tee shirts and make them into a quilt.

  19. Kevin's would be the internet without a doubt and I may be working my way to that, but not quite there yet. I guess I am a stickler for keeping my picutres up to date and in order. I could spend ages doing that, don't think that is a bad thing though.

  20. Well, I've got rid of a few old bad addictions years ago & picked up a few new good ones over the years. It's no secret that I love taking photos, traveling & writing. No big secret that I mostly wear the same darn clothes every day. I don't seem to be a big collector of things but I do seem to have a lot of stuff lying around I sure don't need. But what the heck, that ain't no secret either....

  21. My addiction of late seems to be techy equipment and software programs. I am hoping that I'm going to become addicted to learning it all thoroughly - lol. That will take it into the realm of sanity.
