Fourth ‘Bark-day’

Our ‘golden boy’ turns four today..

He was born October 31st, 2008..at a farm in the Fraser Valley..

One of the little balls of golden fluff would be ours, but we just didn’t know it yet…

We picked him out on December 6th, 2008 and brought him home on December 27th, 2008..

Our lives have not been the same since..

Never owning a puppy before this was new for us…

oh my goodness what have we done?..a dog born on Halloween?..the ‘devil child?’

all kidding aside,  he was a good puppy, adapting to the ever changing weather and  all the  new adventures and experiences..

The puppy stage did not last for too long..we learned as we went along..as did he..

fast forward four years later and we feel we have done a fairly good job of raising him to be a well socialized dog who loves to run, swim, chase the ball, go camping and of course go to daycare..

  1. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TUCKER, you are just a little older than our Rigg's and he will be Four like you in Dec, He came home to live with us in Jan 2009,But I think he is still part puppy. I am sure you would like to meet up with Rigg's. Talk your MOM and Dad into a vacation drive to St Louis this summer and we will go to the Lake and Doggie Park. Be sage out there. Sam & Donna & Rigg's. PS Free camping at the Ranch and we can go to the Lake and use the campground.

  2. Happy Birthday Tucker!!! May you have a zillion more. Yes puppyhood doesn't last very long, in some cases that is probably very good. In Jackson's case it really wasn't as he was the 'bestest' puppy ever.

  4. Nice header pic.
Not much going on over in these parts for Halloween, although "All Saints Day" (tomorrow) is a holiday. Go figure. Something to do with the Catholic Church I hear.
Anyhoodle, I'm sure your puppy will be well thought of and looked after on his birthday. Goldens are just about the best dogs. ever.

  5. Happy Birthday Tucker!
We went through the same "What have we done?" when we first got Sugar but we are so happy to have her. Tucker is such a fine boy and we love seeing pics of him and his antics as well as his blogs when he writes.

That is an awesome header for Halloween.

  14. Gotta tell ya,my math skills aren't too great..I multiplied 4 X 7 and got 21....Good God, I am losing it!...Obviously, the Tuckster is now 28 in human years...Probably Tucker has much more sense than some 28 year old humans...
