‘Marching’ right along..

Day 60: and so begins a new I turn the calendar this morning, the rain is coming down..rain and more rain in the forecast! If March comes in like a lion, will it go out like a lamb?”

Day 61: 'Red or blue?' afternoon spent at the Sportsmen's show in Abbotsford..a crowded venue filled with way too much testosterone, camo and facial hair.

Day 62: 'open wide?'

Day 63: A great invention?..the 'remote'..gone are the days of thinking 'remote' meant living in a place far away from the cities it seems that electronics cannot be worked without one..if only there was a 'remote' to turn off my 'brain' so I could sleep..or maybe to make the work week go by more quickly?

Day 64: as a new day begins, it has become 'crystal clear''s only 'Tuesday'! get to work!!

Day 65: 'Change'..
A penny saved is a penny earned." - Benjamin Franklin

Day 66: 'Daylight'..the assurance that spring and summer are just around the 'next corner'..not even 7:00 a.m. yet and it is no longer dark outside when I leave for work!!

Day 67: 'One of these things is not like the other?'..How long to halogen light bulbs from Ikea last? How about over 9 years?

Day 68: all different directions? today Carlie and I went south of the border and Doug went east towards the Hope/ Harrison trips together but separately..
a day filled with driving and more driving!..Me?..I just got to be the passenger!

Day 69: All dressed up and no 'fish to catch'?

Day 70: "a tisket, a tasket, a green and yellow basket?"..the basket may not be green and yellow but it sits atop the fridge and contains 'dish cloths'..a 'catch-all' that has a decorative purpose too!!

Day 72: "Where's the receipt?".. a 'rule' at this house..if you have been out shopping, don't come home without a 'receipt' may laugh and think it's funny but this 'rule' has saved us a few times..
like being able to return an item that has been purchased almost three months ago?

Day 73: 'out with the old? is the day that this floor is being removed..we have packed away all the breakables in preparation for the demo..stay tuned for more..

Day 74: ‘amid the chaos?’..Friday to work we go..the installers are returning today to finish…at least we hope it will be all done when we get home tonight?IMG_0811

  2. You have been very busy indeed! It's always exciting to see the new changes to our place. We'll be waiting to see yours.

  3. are doing such a fabulous job. I am glad I didn't decided to join this challenge. I would have been embarrassed at what I would have posted. Keep up the great work.

  4. It is quite amazing all the interesting things there are to take pictures of. Good job, Sue, and it is fun sharing your world!

  5. I'm beginning to think you have a hard time sitting still. Your mind is so creative! :c)

  6. Those pictures of Tucker are just the best ever. He is soooo happy. Waiting to see the finished product.

  7. If we ever start remodeling our kitchen, the floor is going to be Pergo...We had better start soon before the Health Dept. closes my kitchen ;-)

  8. Love the header!! Tucker looks like he has been enjoying ranch days on a regular basis.

  9. I don't suppose you could send some of that wet stuff our way??? I remember the days of having to walk across the room and change the channel. On the (old at the time) B&W TV. 3 stations to choose from - four if you counted the Spanish channel. :)

  10. Another enjoyable post, hope the floor job turned out good. Like the choice of new flooring from what a I could see in the picture. Have a good Saint Patrick's day!

  11. The receipt rule "rules" in our household, too.
