A ‘golden meet and greet’

July 23rd, 2013

This morning we left the comfort of our campsite bright and early..destination was Ona Beach..104 miles to go and 2 and half hours travelling the 101..

..almost three hours later and we arrived at our ‘golden meeting point’..

who were we meeting?..Grant and Kathy and ‘Molly’..from Birding Rv’ers blog..

We headed towards the beach..it WAS there in the fog..

Tucker and Molly had a great time romping through the waves and rolling in the sand..

Tucker was pretty quick to get the sticks ahead of Molly..she is such a ‘girl’..

We had a picnic in the park..

and a lovely chat discussing all the topics that bloggers discuss when they get together..

Yet again, ,meeting another blogger is like meeting an old friend..

Thanks for driving from Bandon to meet us Grant and Kathy..we will be sure stop and see you next time we are in your area again!!

We headed north towards home..only 104 miles to go..we stopped at MO’s in Lincoln City for an early dinner..

..our day ended with yet another campfire with Dave and Carol..they are leaving us tomorrow, and heading to Astoria for a few days....we will sure miss these fine folks..

  5. Ah Tucker, and here I thought you were the chivalrous gentleman and would allow Molly first dibs on the sticks LOL!! Guess all bets are off when it comes to a game of "Sticks"...you go guy. Nice view from Mos - don't think we've ever eaten at the one in Lincoln City.
