Hello...goodbye and see you down the road...

March 18- April 1, 2016

One of the best things about this 'lifestyle' is the people you meet along the way...and of course the saddest part is when you have to say 'so long'...
Sure we all know the best thing to say is 'see you down the road'..but sometimes you never know when that will be...
Easter weekend, Carlie and Adam came from Langley for a visit...the time went by very quickly as always..
We went for a walk at Haynes Point..

.We did some impromptu wine tasting..visiting See ya later ranch,

and Silver Sage winery as well..

and went for ice cream, of course..

we even made the time to do a little 'real estate shopping'..we found  them a 'little fixer upper?'
just needs a bit of work?..new floor windows and a roof and it would be 'perfect'!!

once the Easter weekend was done and the 'kids' were headed home it was time to get to work..saying 'so long' to our winter skirting...we, of course picked the windiest day to complete the task..

the trailer looks 'naked'...but it's nice to know that soon the wheels will be rolling again..
Now there is a 'familiar looking rig!!!

The last day of the month Steve and Dianne Colibaba arrived at the park, after their winter down south...357 days since they arrived at Monck Park last spring..and about 7 months since we parted ways at Tunkwa Provincial  Park...so nice to see them again..lots of catching up to do!!

..One more 'see you down the road' this morning when our neighbors for the past month are headed home to Alberta...
Drive safe Roger and Joanne and Roxy!!..you will be missed!!

see you all next winter!!!

only 8 more days and it will be our tail lights that will be heading out!!!

  3. Glad you made it through the winter with your sanity in check. Maybe in a few years you might be able to make that southern trek.
    Be Safe and Enjoy!

    It's about time.

  4. Wonderful to spend time with you both again (and Tucker, of course!) The great thing about this lifestyle is meeting new friends, spending time together, parting ways....and then re-connecting again! Looking forward to some winery visits too!!

  5. New adventures await you guys. And you soldiered through the Osoyoos winter. With spring in the air, you now have that new (to you) park to challenge your through the next several months. All the best with that.
